In today's industrial landscape, one thing is truer than ever: data is a critical competitive advantage. But before companies can share data securely, efficiently, and confidently with partners, customers, or suppliers, they need a stable digital foundation and clear direction.
With the Readiness Checklist, we offer a practical tool to analyze and understand a company’s current level of digitalization and to assess how well-prepared it is for integration into a data room or digital data ecosystem. The questions guide users through relevant topics and prerequisites. This allows companies to identify both their strengths and clear next steps on the path to digital connectivity, enabling them to plan targeted measures. By answering the questions with an honest self-assessment, they gain an overview of how well their company is already positioned digitally and where there is still a need for action, particularly with regard to the structured and secure handling of data.
This checklist was developed as part of the SCALE-MX transfer initiative in collaboration with experts from WIK, DIHK Service GmbH, and other project partners to provide small and medium-sized enterprises with clear and actionable guidance.
