On October 28, 2025, the SCALE-MX Readiness Workshop for SMEs , titled “Sharing Data, Boosting Energy Efficiency: How to Reduce Costs and Stay Competitive Through Data Ecosystems,” took place at KEDi in Halle (Saale).

What is a clear example? 

The data ecosystem enables real-time data exchange in the context of energy data management. If a company operates its own solar power plants, the grid operator would not need to shut them down as a precautionary measure when there is a risk of grid overload. Within the data ecosystem, plant operators and grid operators could exchange data automatically without having to shut down the plant.

What were the highlights?
