On 10 September 2025, the multiplier workshop on the topic of "Industrial data spaces in the context of Manufacturing-X" took place in Hanover, organized and hosted by the consortium partner Niedersachsen.next.

Around 20 participants from SME digital centers, chambers of industry and commerce, business and innovation promotion agencies and digital hubs came together to learn more about the Manufacturing-X data ecosystem and work together on the question: "How can data spaces be made tangible and put into practice?"

A particular highlight of the workshop was trying out practical formats with interactive insights:

• The SCALE-MX simulation game to illustrate data room concepts.

• The Readiness checklist for SMEswhich companies can use to check and assess their current status on the way to the data room.

• As well as two immersive XR applications on Factory-X and Transfer-X, presented by LNI 4.0, which offered participants impressive insights into the digital factory of the future.

Overall, the varied and informative day showed very impressively how the complex topic of industrial data spaces and data ecosystems can be communicated in a clear and practice-oriented way. The combination of theoretical input, interactive methods and the testing of new formats resulted in a lively exchange from which the multipliers were able to take away valuable ideas for their work with SMEs.
