SCALE-MX Forum for Multipliers in Hanover
The first SCALE-MX Forum for Multipliers took place in Hanover on May 20, 2025. The forum provides a platform for multipliers to learn about and exchange ideas on the technology transfer of industrial data spaces and the Manufacturing-X data ecosystem.
Organized by our consortium partner Niedersachsen.Next , the forum at the Hannover Medical Park brought together representatives from chambers of commerce, digital centers for medium-sized businesses, associations, digital agencies, and other networks. The primary goal was to empower the transfer stakeholders present to communicate the Manufacturing-X data ecosystem in a comprehensible and applicable way to their target groups, especially SMEs. This was achieved through inspiring keynotes, exciting presentations, practical workshops, and networking opportunities during a relaxed get-together at the end of the event.
These were the highlights of the forum:
- Presentation of the SCALE-MX project and introduction to industrial data ecosystems by Dr. Marc Hüske and Dr. Angelina Marko
- Keynotes by Norbert Gebbe and Dr. Christian Lindemann on the political framework and the status quo of technology transfer in Industry 4.0
- Insights into innovative transfer approaches, for example the AR application presented by Anja Simon and Dr. Hanna Theuer, and the knowledge platform by Marko Pfeifer
- Interactive sessions with valuable input on funding opportunities, transfer formats and scaling
These were the key arguments:
- Industrial data ecosystems need scaling, low-threshold entry, and practical and cross-sector application examples with target-group-appropriate transfer in order to successfully implement technology transfer.
- Multipliers play a key role in translating these topics into business, politics and society.
- The foundation has been laid! Now it's time to implement the transfer formats, prepare concrete use cases from the X-projects in a target-group-appropriate manner, and make the added value tangible for companies.
We are actively working to make the Manufacturing-X data ecosystem accessible and understandable for companies and to recruit multipliers to actively shape it. The transfer thrives on people who understand and drive it!
